Like you already realized I have a weakness for perfumes. Today I want to take you on a journey to one of the most famous French luxury brands – Louis Vuitton. I have an immense weakness for Louis Vuitton. This brand is so exciting, beautiful and stunning so that I was even more happy when they introduced their first perfumes, which have been presented last year – September 2016.

In the Louis Vuitton boutique on the  Champs Elysées a lovely lady took a lot of time to explain and present me the different perfumes and their specific characteristics. On this way I would like to say thank you so much for your help and your support. As well a big thank you to the department store Printemps. At this place, two nice ladies’s answered my last questions.

The perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud

The perfumes have been created by a real child of prodigy – JACQUES CAVALLIER BELLETRUD.Jacques Cavallier Belletrud comes from the world famous city of perfumes Grasse in South France. Even his father has been a perfumer. Even as a child he has been fascinated by perfumes and while other children learned scales and notes he learned different scents by heart. As

Jacques Cavallier Belletrud comes from the world famous city of perfumes Grasse in South France. Even his father has been a perfumer. Even as a child he has been fascinated by perfumes and while other children learned scales and notes he learned different scents by heart. As reward for good grades his father let him weigh out formulary for perfumes. When he got with 18 years his school leaving certificate, he started working in perfume factory in Grasse, where he learned how to distill blossoms. His father always told him, that it takes more than only mixing some scents to become a real perfumer.   A lot of years of hard work followed. But it was absolutely worth it! In 2012 Louis Vuitton named him to the Maître de Parfumeur and he started to travel four years around the world to create the first collection of Louis Vuitton perfumes. Jacques Cavallier Belletrud has been a Maître de Parfumeur already before and worked for other famous brands like Bulgari, Issey Miyake and Tom Ford.
